David Thuku
A third year Fine Art student at Kenyatta University, David Thuku draws inspiration for his work from people, objects and events. He is particularly drawn to the communication between individuals, attempting to capture what goes unsaid in people's interactions what one another. He is currently studying interactions contained in body language.David Thuku works in portraiture, and using herself as the subject in her work, her photography is a way to explore her own perceptions of different facets of the human condition.

Mitchelle the Artist (Kenyan, b.1988) is one of Africa's best known artists. With his first exhibition at Nommo Gallery, Kenya (2006), Mitchelle's work can be found in a number of prestigious private collections. Her work can also be found in the The Africa Collection. Mitchelle's work has also been part of a number of auctions including the Circle Art Auction. "She is best known for his narrative and colourful imagery. Her paintings invoke stories of everyday life in Africa and carry the influence of his upbringing in rural south-western Kenya. The real mingles with the unreal, reality and dreams become indistinguishable."
